Beat It! Cardiac Health Program at Brellah

Bld. 8, 49 Frenchs Forest Rd E Frenchs Forest, NSW 2086

9122 0888

Service Overview

Our 8-week outpatient cardiac health program is generally recommended by the patient’s cardiologist as an important step in their recovery plan. Patients can also be referred by their GP or specialist as a preventive measure. Our goal at Brellah is to help those with heart conditions better manage their symptoms, as well as support those having had heart procedures to regain their health and return to work, activities and the tasks of daily living.

What to expect

Initial Health Assessment:

You will meet with an Exercise Physiologist and Nutritionist to discuss your movement and lifestyle related habits and health goals. Where needed, we can also recommend and provide in-house support from a mental health professional, as a diagnosis or cardiac event can be a lot for people to process, so it can help to have professional guidance during this time.

Interactive Group Sessions:

During the program, participants will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of group exercise and education sessions. Our goal is to empower you with the skills and knowledge to support your journey back to full health, while giving you the opportunity to build your community with others on a similar journey.

Ongoing Lifestyle Programs:

At the end of the program, patients will be connected with further exercise options including partnering programs at the Heart Foundation and membership opportunities with our on-site fitness centre, Movement HQ.
