Inpatient (Cardiac Rehabilitation) What is this?

12 session program. Group 1: 8.30 - 11.00am Monday (exercise and education) and 8.30 - 10.00am Wednesday (exercise only) OR Group 2: 10.00am - 1.00pm Monday (education and exercise) and 11.30am - 1.00pm Wednesday (exercise only)

Eligible Patients

Diagnosis

  • Acute coronary syndrome: acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) & stable or unstable angina (chest pain)
  • Coronary heart disease
  • Heart failure
  • Cardiomyopathies
  • Angina only not seen

    • Procedures

  • Re-vascularisation - coronary angioplasty or stenting
  • Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery
  • Valve surgery
  • Cardiac surgery: AAA repair, congenital, LVADS, Arrhythmia Surgery or combination
