Service Overview

Cardiac Rehabilitation services following diagnosis or post surgery are offered on a 1:1 and group setting. Patients will be guided and supported through a suitable exercise program on their journey back to optimal health. Dietetic, podiatry, physio and remedial massage services are also available.

Eligible Patients

Diagnosis

  • Acute coronary syndrome: acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) & stable or unstable angina (chest pain)
  • Coronary heart disease
  • Cardiomyopathies
  • Arrhythmia (abnormal heart rhythm) - Atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT)
  • Adult congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, peripheral vascular disease

    • Procedures

  • Re-vascularisation - coronary angioplasty or stenting
  • Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery
  • Valve surgery
  • Cardiac surgery: AAA repair, congenital, LVADS, Arrhythmia Surgery or combination
