Inpatient (Cardiac Rehabilitation) What is this?

12 session program. Tuesdays 9.30 - 11.00am and Thursdays 9.00am to 12 noon (includes an hour of education and a half hour break)

Outpatient (Cardiac Rehabilitation) What is this?

Eligible Patients

Diagnosis

  • Acute coronary syndrome: acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) & stable or unstable angina (chest pain)
  • Coronary heart disease
  • Heart failure
  • Cardiomyopathies
  • Angina only not seen

    • Procedures

  • Re-vascularisation - coronary angioplasty or stenting
  • Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery
  • Valve surgery
  • Cardiac surgery: AAA repair, congenital, LVADS, Arrhythmia Surgery or combination
