Inpatient education and referral to Cardiac rehabilitation program.

1 x week Monday 0930- 1130 and 1030 - 1230. Clients required a referral and assessment prior to commencing the program. Suitable for client following STEMI, NSTEMI, PCI, High Risk Factors and clients post cardiac surgery.

Heart failure patients receive education on the benefits of exercise, managing of their condition (diet, sodium restrictions, fluid management, action plans) and access to a staged exercise rehabilitation program.
